LIVING THE DREAM
Artisan Brewing is the realisation of a dream to live under the tall Karri's on rolling emerald hills with pristine water and brew exciting artisanal beers to push the flavour boundaries of craft beer.
Brian Fitzgerald, Australia's first Certified Cicerone, Certified BJCP Beer Judge, Brewer and his wife, Julia, after years of international exploration and a fateful trip to Belgium in 2006, decided to settle in beautiful Denmark to create multi-award-winning single batch Belgian-inspired fine ales. These are expertly designed to pair with fine food and enjoy with great friends - just like fine wine!
For our Artisan branded beers, each month we create new single batch beers based on quality ingredients we find attractive or interesting for the season. Some recipes are based on Brian's 25 years of amateur brewing experience of which the last 15 years were dedicated to brewing Belgian-inspired beers. Some are new creations and hybrids. All of our handcrafted elixirs use the finest ingredients without adjuncts or preservatives and without filtration which we believe strips flavour. We also use organic ingredients and indigenous plants and fruits in some of our special beers. All beers are made with selected yeast from the White Labs yeast bank or our own house yeast.
With our core range in the 5-7% range, we extensively brew strong vintage ales for future release. Many of our 'vintage ales' are now going into barrels to increase the complexity and longevity. Our core range, created after extensive feedback from our faithful customers, include 'Awesome Blonde' Blonde Ale, 'Malabar' Witbier, 'Choc Waffles' Oatmeal Porter and 'The Moz' IPA.
Our beers are currently available on tap at the very best craft beer bars and restaurants throughout WA and are available in growlers and cans at specialist bottle shops for takeaway. Ask for Artisan beers at your local craft beer establishment.
Although most of our beers are packaged into 50 & 20 litre kegs, with a limited run of cans avaliable currently, we will have our barrel collection avaliable in bottles shortly.
